- Can be paid on a 1099 or W-2 basis, depending on your company’s requirements

Best of the Best
Our staff will search our network of consultants, interview and screen each candidate, verify skills, check references and introduce to you via email the most qualified High Tech Connect consultants. In most cases, we present résumés within 48 hours. In addition to a current résumé and billing rate, you’ll receive our candid comments about personality and relevant experience with each candidate.
Your Choice
Once we present you with the consultants specially selected for your project, you choose the one(s) you want to interview. We’ll schedule interviews and gather references and samples as needed. If necessary, we will also provide background checks.
No Surprises
With High Tech Connect there is no minimum fee. There is no charge until you approve the work. No cancellation fees. No retainers. No kidding. And if for any reason, the consultant is not working out or budgets are cut, one phone call to us stops the clock. No hassles. Pay only for the work that’s been done.
Rates
We strive to work within your budget and will propose a number of ways to satisfy your needs without compromising quality. Rates for assignments will always reflect the consultant’s experience level, and may be presented as hourly, by page or by project.
Confidentiality
All High Tech Connect consultants must sign a confidential information clause as part of their contract with us. We work only with seasoned professionals who are keenly aware of the sensitive nature of emerging technologies and will safeguard confidential information.
Geography
The majority of our consultants are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but we have many working successfully with clients across the country. In fact, one of our largest clients is based in New York while the marketing writers they’re using hail from four different states.
Billing/Accountability
Client companies can pay for High Tech Connect consultant services on a W-2 or 1099 basis. Consultants on W-2 projects submit weekly timecards to the client for approval, and clients are billed weekly for all hours approved. On 1099 projects, clients are invoiced after we receive the consultant invoice. Clients always approve the work before being billed.
Permanent Placements

On-Boarding/Project Management
As soon as you select a consultant, our client services staff will get the consultant processed and briefed. We can also assist with your company’s specific purchasing and work statement requirements. Then during the term of the project, we’ll keep in contact with you and the consultant, ensuring the project is on schedule and results are as expected.
